Picture from Windy Knoll Llamas Welcome to Windy Knoll Llamas! Thanks for stopping to visit. Windy Knoll is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We have been raising llamas for almost three years now. Every day is a new challenge, but we can't imagine not having these animals sharing our lives. We have met many interesting people through our interest in llamas. These gentle animals have a way of bringing people together, calming nerves after a long day at work, and just being great fun!
Windy Knoll consists of about 10 acres and is currently home to 15 llamas. Raising llamas is a family endeavor. We are just starting our family. Our son Bryce is 2 and our daughter Bailey is 5 months. We are looking forward to having our children grow up around llamas. Caring for and showing these animals will teach responsibility and is something we can do together for many years.

We are very proud of the progress we have made in our breeding program in the past couple of years. Our concentration is on heavy wooled, show quality llamas. We believe we are meeting this goal. Windy Knoll is "Where Fiber and Conformation Meet!"
